The Innovation & Enterprise team strives to ensure that everything we do is as effective, creative and relevant as it can be to provide the best student experience for our members. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and help us deliver some amazing projects.
Project Coordinator
Innovation & Enterprise Team
Salary: £21,250 pa, + 25 days annual leave + public holidays
Fixed term contract until December 21st 2012 (Post to be reviewed at this time with the possibility for extension)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated individual with a passion for the arts who can assist in the delivery of a range of creative and innovative projects across University of the Arts London and London School of Economics Students’ Unions.
Working with staff across the organisation, the Innovation & Enterprise Coordinator will coordinate and deliver projects as directed by the Innovation & Enterprise Manager and the Union executive. Projects delivered by this department include an on-line enterprise selling student artwork, development and research projects on Student Union controlled spaces and the Fresher’s week programmes at both Unions.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver under pressure and have superior customer service skills whilst being confident and personable. You will enjoy working in a fast paced, challenging environment and be a fast learner. The nature of this role is varied and flexible meaning you will work with a vast cross-section of the staff team and student body on the Innovation & Enterprise programme.
Although the workload of the team is fluid, you will be working mainly on two of our larger projects.
www.madeinartslondon.com is our recently launched on-line shop selling current student and recent graduate artwork. You will take a lead in the operational running of this enterprise working on a variety of tasks including uploading and maintaining web content, coordinating deliveries of products and marketing the enterprise to name a few! This is SUARTS newest creative venture and one we are hugely excited about.
Fresher’s weeks at the two Unions are hugely different but equally challenging. The Students’ Union takes an active role in coordinating a week long programme of activities, workshops and events ranging from life drawing taster sessions to club nights at London clubs KOKO & Fabric. We are looking for an individual who can work with University staff to coordinate these two programmes, liaise with venues and artists to produce the external club nights and coordinate our team of volunteers who help us out across the weeks.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to build on their experience in a creative and dynamic environment which rewards creativity, high impact and fun.
