//What is the Democracy Scrutiny Committee?
The Democracy Scrutiny Committee (DSC) is made up of 8 students that are elected each year whose role is to keep a check on what the Student Executive Officers are up to, making sure they are working on things that matter most to students.
Just like the Student Executive, the DSC are elected by students and so are accountable to students. This means that if you don’t like something they are doing then you can do something about it!

//What do the DSC do?
The DSC also make sure that the Students’ Union democratic procedures such as referendum and elections are as accessible as possible for the whole student body to have a voice and get involved.
The DSC deals with complaints & appeals that relate to decisions of the Student Executive Officers and the Returning Officer during elections and referendum voting periods.
