What is the Student Portal?

Confused about what a Portal is? A 'web portal' is a way to present information from a variety of sources in a unified way.

For us it means that we can offer a portal, a bit like an intranet, that brings together many aspects of the university through feeds such as news and events. (you may have used this new portal my.arts.ac.uk/student already since its introduction in May 2009)

In a year or two's time we will go further and centralise the way that you can communicate and interact with a variety of activities at the university, making it easier for you to stay in touch and access information and services.
