Meeting Students at Freshers and asking them about issues

Discussing Communittees at UAL and how they can improve the sense of community at UAL

Working on Enrollment at UAL and asking students what they think of it

Meeting with the Exec to check what they have been up to in the first term and challenging them on issues.
What does the DSC do?
The DSC also make sure that the Students’ Union democratic procedures such as referendum and elections are as accessible as possible for the whole student body to have a voice and get involved.The DSC deals with complaints & appeals that relate to decisions of the Student Executive Officers and the Returning Officer during elections and referendum voting periods.
How do you become a member of DSC?
All members of DSC are elected by students studying across all colleges at UAL. The elections take place every spring term with the elected students taking up the position the following academic year. The next Elections will take place in Spring 2012.
