Studied BA Broadcast Journalism, LCF ''During my 2nd year of study at LCF on Broadcast Journalism, and first year living in London, I got involved with the SU by being a fresher's rep and this changed my whole experience of university. I then became a course rep and also went onto attend a number of NUS conferences, giving me an insight into the way the NUS runs and what it does for students as well as seeing the way democracy works within the NUS. In a year of massive political controversy, we do face tough times ahead with government cutbacks to education. |

As well as fighting cuts and defending education, I want to focus on how to create a better experience at UAL by making use of our most valuable recourse: our students. I plan to raise awareness of the different networks at UAL and widen opportunities for these networks. As well as this I will fight to introduce a system that raises more awareness for funding and advice that is already available to students.
