Yes, yes our giant GO Green valentine's day cards with all this year's green objectives have been handed over to the university. Helen Gimber, SUARTS President, met with Nigel Carrington, Rector of UAL, to hand the card over and push the university to agree to our objectives (below). WE WANT UAL TO GO GREEN ... |

We know students want to see more green things at UAL, how? Because they keep telling us. We've listened to what you've said and we're pressing the University into action. Last year during GO GREEN week we asked the University to commit to our Green Charter (see right) and had success in certain areas. This year though we will be continuing our campaign to get the University to commit to 5 fresh objectives and will not be giving up without a fight. 1. Every student should have the opportunity to study sustainability as a part of their course

2. University of the Arts London should commit to chieving fair-trade status 3. More staff time should be commited and fully deidcated to getting Arts London to GO Green - a sustainability team? 4. Arts London should dramatically cut energy wastage 5. More recycling facilities should be made available
