Welcome to the Islamic Society! at University of the Arts London
A place dedicated to creative Muslims where they can share and recognize their Artistry with others across all 6 college campuses. We aim to support students on building their confidence and keep them motivated whilst studying at the University through inspiring and useful activities they can take part in. We also encourage a platform of spiritual consciousness, mutual understanding and unity with people of different faiths through hosts of events/gatherings throughout the year.
We run a special exhibition every year in March called Artisitic Jihad, where students get the opportunity to showcase their work to everyone that attends the event. Our events are influenced by Islam and our Artistic ability to explore, create and most importantly inspire!
We also have a praying area in room WG22 (formerly WG14), on the ground floor. There are a wide range of resources on Islam for Muslims & non-Muslims and many more.
