The Victoria & Albert Museum, Friday Late: Archive Live, 25 February 2011
Platform projects took the newly formed Invasion collective - all 2010-11 freshers from Camberwell College of Art - to show their work at one of the Museum's Friday Late events.
The theme of the night was 'Archive' and Invasion chose to create a project which archived visitors' attendance at the event.
The collective designed an interactive table-top artwork where visitors took a wooden block, each with a unique code, and in it's place on the board they placed their fingerprint in ink.
Underneath the wooden blocks, and slowly revealed as more visitors took part in the project, was a floor map of the Museum. People's fingerprints literally made their mark on the landscape of the Museum throughout the night.
