A uniquely diverse exhibition of the very best emerging talent from Europe’s leading Arts university, UAL, showcasing the next big things in art, sculpture, photography, film, fashion and design.

Come and find your new favourite artist.

Now in its 13th year, Xhibit is a platform for the best art and design by students across UAL.  Work can be submitted by current students at any college regardless of course, year of study, or area of practice.

Organised by the Students’ Union, Xhibit 2010 is the perfect opportunity for students to take their work to a wider audience.

Xhibit has no themes or constraints.  We just want the best.

This year we received over 600 submissions.  After a rigorous judging process 37 artists were selected.  The exhibition has been curated by students from the UAL Curation and Exhibitions Society.

The judges were: Sacha Craddock (New Contemporaries), Maggie Pinhorn (Alternative Arts), Helen Gimber (SU President), Abi Winder & Jayne O’Hanlon (UAL Curation & Exhibitions Society), Joseph Meegan

Thanks

Sacha Craddock, Maggie Pinhorn, Denise Heard, Guy Devilliers, Xavi Garcia and Christopher Lacy (publicity and catalogue design), Abi Winder, Rayne Perry, Jayne O’Hanlon and the Curation and Exhibitions Society, Helen Gimber, Kit Friend, Carly Aslett, James Burden, Anthony Petrou, Camilla Langlands, Les Claridge and the LCC Gallery, Sophie Marment, Jarlath O’Hara, Roddy Thomson, all of the artists who submitted work, and the SU staff for making this happen.
